Any ratio may b e used, but common mixtures are B2 (2%), B5 (5%), and B20 (20%). The advantage of using a biodiesel blend vs. using straight biodiesel is that you gain some of the positives of biodiesel while keeping costs lower. Do note that if you use biodiesel blends of greater than 20%, the manufacturer warranty on some cars will be invalidated. Check with your manufacturer if you choose to go this route. |
